MCCOOK COMMUNITY MURAL PROJECT
Inspiring Impactful Change
Local assistant and apprentice artists join lead artists in project planning. All community members are welcome to participate in design sessions this autumn and in mural completion.
We will fundraise in 3 phases: story gathering and research, design and color study, and painting and community celebration. Donating is a great way to become part of this exciting project!
In addition, we seek a wall that has good visibility in the community and is low and long to allow all ages and abilities to paint next summer safely. Please get in touch with us with offers or suggestions at 308-340-7854 or mccookmurals@gmail.com
Share history and stories of McCook and Southwest Nebraska with assistant artists Wes McCollam and Karrie Steely, apprentice artists Elizabeth Aguirre, Maria Campos and Asher Long and organizer Joann Falkenburg.
